Sabita

Sabita Mishra was born in Bihar, India in the 1960s. After a traditional Brahmin arranged marriage, she moved with her husband to the US where she graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois. Sabita started writing poetry as a way to heal after a series of unfortunate events led to life in a homeless shelter. Life Disarranged is her first collection of poems.
